If there are two equally great dogs out there and one will cost more medically than the other ... well, most people would go with the lower cost dog. Not to mention that it's a senior dog and may have troubles being adopted for that reason too.<BR/><BR/>It's really difficult on the dog when are that old and have surgery. It's the least the owners can do for their pet.
