Thought I'd post a quick update to the happenings at Toronto Humane Society. Former THS supervisor Vijay Kumar was arrested on Saturday afternoon. This is the Eighth senior employee at THS who has been charged according to Globe and Mail report on March 15, 2010. Read the entire article here, Another official charged from humane society.
According to the article "23 staff members have been laid off and, as of the first week in March, only 373 animals remained: 208 cats, 32 dogs, 122 small mammals and 11 birds."

Argh! Thank you. I played with that word forever ... don't know what happened ... maybe the spell check in my brain turned off?? Drove me crazy!
