For everyone who was out there holding their breath in anticipation here it is ... Rambo and Brittany are NOT Pitbulls! Go figure, eh? Check out the entire article here:
The gist of the article is that the independent veterinarian deemed the dogs not to be Pitbulls and after 97 days in the pound, the two dogs get to go home (FINALLY!). Branco has spent more than $20,000 in legal fees fighting this process. Branco paid the $50 for a licence and picked up Brittany, but was shocked when he found out he would have to post a big red sign on his fence declaring a “dangerous dog” lives at the home.

Oh yeah, that's a great idea. Post tht sign and see how many wacko crazy sue-happy idiots want to play with the dog.
I'm glad to hear the dogs get to go home. Not so happy about the sign requirement.
All is well what ends well. So happy that they're home again!
Cases like this might create a helpful precedence.
Oh,thank heavens. Now they just have to post a big For Sale sign on their lawn, and get the heck out of Dodge.
Thanks for letting us know, DDF!
Maybe the city fathers should take the "find the pit bull" test this site offers: http://www.pitbullsontheweb.com/petbull/findpit.html
Thanks for keeping us informed.
I'm glad the dogs are back home, but wonder what the stress of 97 days in the pound did to the dogs mentally. I hope the dogs aren't too negatively affected by the experience.
It's awful that the owners had to pay that much-the city should have to pay them back!
Unless these two beautiful dogs are a real danger, I don't see the need for the sign requirement. Thanks for the update.
Calsidyrose...I failed miserably on the test, took me about 6 clicks! I even clicked on one that was my favorite dog...Old English Bulldog! Just goes to show, a book should not be judged by its cover, nor a dog by its ears!
