Featured Rescue - Fala the Vizsla

There are 206 Vizslas available through PetFinder.com today. A friend of ours has a Vizsla and she's so quiet in a love-me-forever sort of way. The Vizsla is often mistaken as a Pitbull (even though it is a hound!).

This is Fala. She is 2 years old and she is a special needs case. Fala has an autoimmune disorder called Myasthenia Gravis which is treated with daily oral medication. She sounds like an absolutely delightful dog. She must eat in this special chair (I assume the one she is pictured in) ... take some time to read her bio - it's really quite interesting!

Fascinating, and sad.

I hope she finds a loving home.

They are such beautiful dogs.

Wow Fala sounds like an amazing dog. Despite the medical condition she would bring so much joy to someone. I hope she can. i'm wondering if the shelter considered transferring her to a no kill shelter/foster home so Fala doesn't face euthanasia
