New Poll - Trainers

For those of you who haven't read it yet or haven't answered, I added a new poll to the blog. I'm really curious to see the results of this one! It will only take a moment of your time so please read it and mark your answer.

Please don't answer the question more than once or it messes up the numbers. If you want to add something to your answer or comment about it, please leave a comment in this thread.

When I first started this blog I posted polls every week and quite enjoyed seeing the results. I am going to try to post one often. If you have an idea for a poll and you are interested in seeing the results, email me and I will set it up for the next one!

Well only2 so far. I voted....but Ki is only 8 months old.

So, two agility trainers. But eventually we will add herding, and obedience classes. Maybe also flyball and disc dog. He'd be a great disc dog.

So, actually, my answer will be 6 or more in a few years.

My name is ______ and I am a dog training addict.

I have a comment for your July 5th post on Scooter the Dachshund.

I co-founded a Dachshund rescue last year because the only one in the area had closed (not sure when). We get an average of 5 requests to take in Dachshunds PER WEEK! Ranging in age from newborn to almost 15 years old, from shelters to owners, and the Oklahoma City metro is NOT THAT LARGE.

As for training, I've only attended one class. I had several bad experiences with my first dog from the time I was 12 until I was 18 that I don't want to pay for a trainer that uses methods I don't agree with. I'm currently looking to our local obedience club, which is affordable and offers preview classes.

Hi DDF! Haven't had the chance to comment for a while so I have lots of stuff saved up :)

I've only been to 1 trainer so far, for the obedience class I just finished with both boys. However, I'd like to start agility with Ziggy in the fall and maybe do Canine Good Citizen with Dom as well. Dom is doing really well, my stubborn PB that I thought would NEVER give paw has got it and is now giving it on a regular basis! What a good boy!!!! :)
