Blog Updates - Blogroll Added

Just thought I'd let you all know that I have decided to open up a blogroll for non-animal related blogs. Previously, I had limited my blogroll to animal related blogs only but that's somewhat limiting.

If you would like me to add your blog to this list, please leave a comment and let me know. I do ask that you post a reciprocal link back from your blog (that means you put a link to my blog from your blogroll).

Hi - good idea. I have a non-animal related blog, http://blessedsilence.wordpress.com/. It is musings on my Christian walk and work toward an eremetic life. I can easily list you on the Wordpress blog but have no control over listing on the next one. I also blog on our local online newspaper - http://www.semissourian.com/blogs/1393 and this one IS pet related. I do so enjoy your perspectives on pets and life. Keep up the good work.

Hi, DogsDeserveFreedom.

I would love you to add our dog Joey's blog to your blogroll.

The blog is:

http://www.dogsdontlookbothways.com/joeys_blog.

Joey, our chocolate lab, began this blog after he was hit by a car. He takes us through his injury, rehab, and now healthy living (though he had a tooth extracted last week, 15 months after the injury, but still due to it.)

About dogs and freedom, in our town, which has a wonderful lake, the leash law extends to the lake itself! Dogs going into the lake must be on a lead no longer than 10 feet. So dogs, who in the summer live in this hot climate, and who really need a cool body of water to cool off, are not legally allowed to. many do, but I'd love for our town to change THIS law!

I think it's better to have just animals on the blog, but it's your blog.
