How was your weekend? We had play dates all weekend so we were pretty doggie-centric! Went to the dog park on Friday, then we had people come over with different dogs both Saturday and Sunday. My guys were so tired last night, they kept falling asleep wherever they lay down.
A tired dog is a good dog.
Today's Guess the Breed is brought to you by mytwh - this is one of her dogs, Ziggy. She said that many people try to guess his breed so give it a go!
Note that these are Ziggy's puppy pictures so he will look bigger and a bit different as
an adult!
He's a real looker, eh?
Put forth your guesses, but remember the golden rules ...
1. No bashing other peoples' opinions. (Friendly banter only.)
2. Post your opinion!
3. Have fun!

I'm terrible at these guessing games, but I'll give it a go. Short-haired Border Collie?
I'm not sure be he has the markings of a Boston terrier.
Okay, I will go with a Boston terrier too.
TOO cute, whatever the heck he is!
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
boxer- beagle- boston.... 3 B's :)
I'm saying a Boston Terrier, Beagle mix
I have no idea what breed he is. But he sure is adorable!
Def not a Boston. but I would go with the Beagle vote. I think I'm off here though...maybe he's a Beagle's cousin. :)
I have no idea! How about the breed ''cute''?!
I would say a little Boston Terrier with a smattering of Beagle.
My vote is for the "adorable" breed. Or maybe for the "I have a good home right here..." category, too.
I would guess Boxer x Beagle ...
Minnie-Moo's mum
Do I see some Beagle in there?
I'm always saying that, "A tired dog is a good dog."
He's a canardly--You can hardly tell what he might be! :)
My neighbor gave me that one when trying to guess the breed on one my rescue dogs.
I'll go with the Beagle-Boston mix.
He's a cutie
Geez, a puppy photo? That makes it much tougher as some key breed characteristics are not always evident in young dogs. I remember showing some folks at work photos of Pablo, my new smooth collie puppy at 8 weeks of age. People had trouble believing that the short nosed, floppy eared, roly-poly pup would grow up into a long, leggy, elegant, "nasally-gifted" collie. Most thought he looked like a little pit bull.
Sooo with that in mind, I'm a lot less confident guessing a puppy's breed. Nonetheless, I'll having a go at Ziggy but I first have to get past the cuteness. I get the impression of a slight undershot jaw which would hint towards a bully breed like a Boston. His muzzle is way too long for a Boston and his eyes look too small. He's a brindle which is found, I think, in Bostons. Judging by the chewie, he's a smallish pup. My first thought was Boston-Beagle but I would think it would have bigger ears.
Oh heck, I'm guessing Boston x Border Collie.
You're right! His breed is TOO CUTE :) Do I get to give the answer?
BTW, he looks almost identical to this 5 years later. Just a little frosting on his face. Everyone still thinkshe's just a pup. I'm stressing him out with all my fosters!
Aaaagh, mytwh!!
Tell, tell, it's killin' me;)
But scritch those floppy ears first..
We have no idea. He sure is a cutie though..
Big Sloppy Kisses
Gus, Louie and Callie
he's cute that's for sure. I'm thinking he's a beagle mix maybe with boston terrier
We have no idea but he's pretty cute!
Love ya lots
Maggie and Mitch
I'm agreeing with Chris...I'm guessing Boston x Border Collie.
All right, all right! It looks like GSC wins! He's an adorable Beagle Boston Terrier Mix! His mom was a rescue but apparently people are breeding them as designer dogs now, they're called Boggles. He's honestly the best of both breeds :) Ziggy the wonder dog!
Our new foster that we're getting this weekend is a Boogle. I'll let you know if he's as cute as Ziggy :)
